This shot is from Tom Odell's music video 'Can't pretend'. If we were to chose a studio location I would like it too look like this, quite dark and hazy. I think it would help to create an atmosphere for the audience because the song isn't upbeat. Also the props used such as the microphone and piano is something that I think we want our band to have because they use them anyway and it shows that it is an original cover of the official song because it includes instruments such as a piano or guitar whereas the official song doesn't .
Another location I like from a different video is Janet Devlins 'wonderful'. The video has been shot outside, during the day and the night. I like these two shots, the trees and sky and Janet Devlin on a boat. Ellie and I didn't want our actor to actually go onto the water but we want her to walk next to the lake so a setting like this would be suitable. I think a shot like this of the trees and sky could be used to fill out our video when we do the outdoor lake/woods scene. It looks effective and could link back to our story of 'thinking' about the past and the future.
I really like this - target Level 4 by highlighting key terminology, applying representation theory and then go on to create a photoboard.
